Feeling Disconnected in Your Relationship?
A good, open and honest conversation can help you find clarity.
Whether you're struggling with communication, having the same arguments, rebuilding trust or simply feeling that something has changed, you don't have to work everything out on your own.

Sometimes You Just Need Someone to Really Listen
Hi, I'm Michael, I provide a calm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what's happening in your relationship.
You don't need to have all the answers. Sometimes, talking things through with someone outside the situation can help you understand what's really happening, see things from a different perspective and gain greater clarity about what you want moving forward.
My coaching style is shaped by over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults across Health & Social Care and Education, including senior and management roles.
Throughout my career, I have supported people through challenging situations, difficult conversations and periods of change.
This experience has helped shape my approach to relationship coaching — listening without judgement, encouraging open and honest conversation, and helping people gain greater clarity and understanding.
How I Work With You

We will work together to explore what's happening, clarify what you want and consider the changes that could help you move forward.
Through open and honest conversation, we'll use a simple, focused approach:
Identify • Clarify • Visualise • Plan • Achieve
Together, we'll identify the issue, clarify what you want and visualise what positive change could look like, before developing a realistic plan to help you move towards it.
What Can We Talk About?
Healthy relationships can be influenced by many things — including communication, self-esteem, identity, trust, commitment, respect and emotional connection.
When some of these areas become difficult, unresolved issues can gradually begin to affect how you feel about yourself, your partner and the relationship itself.
You may be experiencing:
- Feeling disconnected or growing apart
- Repeated arguments that never seem to get resolved
- Communication difficulties or feeling unheard
- Problems with trust, commitment or respect
- Changes in intimacy or emotional connection
- Different expectations within the relationship
- Uncertainty about what you really want
- Questions about whether to stay, leave or make changes
Whatever your relationship status or situation, you don't need to have everything figured out before we talk. Sometimes having the space to talk openly about what is happening is the first step towards understanding it.

Client Feedback
From our conversation Michael made me feel so at ease and comfortable. He was very friendly and funny but still always so professional.
This made me feel like I could discuss anything with him.
After just a few sessions i was able to move past a situation in my life and start healthy habits. I would recommend to anyone.

Client Feedback
Michael has opened my eyes! I cannot thank him enough for what he has done. In the short time we were talking he has made me realise to take a step back and get a perspective from my partners point of view. Probably the main thing is to Listen twice before speaking!
I can highly recommend Michael and he's number is securely locked in my phone. I cannot thank him enough.

What Can We Talk About?
Every relationship is different, and you don't need to fit into a particular category to benefit from having an open and honest conversation.
Whether you're married, in a long-term relationship, dating, in a situationship, or navigating a less traditional relationship, there may be times when things simply don't feel right.
We can talk about issues such as:
- Feeling disconnected or growing apart
- Having the same arguments without resolving them
- Communication difficulties or feeling unheard
- Trust, commitment and respect
- Changes in intimacy or emotional connection
- Different expectations about the relationship
- Uncertainty about what you really want
- Questioning whether to stay, leave or make changes
- Understanding yourself and your own needs within the relationship
You don't need to know exactly what the problem is before we talk. Sometimes the conversation itself is what helps you begin to understand what's happening, gain clarity and visualise what you want moving forward.

So ideally a healthy relationship is a loving partnership between two people that is based on respect where the individuals in the relationship feel emotionally safe and able to communicate how they are feeling and are willing and able to work through the problems of day to day life.
However sometimes additional issues can occur within their relationship which can be difficult to resolve and needs help to do this.

So what can cause issues in a relationship
There are many factors that contribute to the development and maintenance of healthy relationships from self esteem & identity together with issues of commitment, trust, respect and love.
As such the lack of these can lead to unhealthy relationships where the issues are not being resolved and can over time becomes the core of relationship.

Typical issues which affect a healthy relationship can be put into the categories of:-
- Relationship with Self (Self Esteem & Identity)
- Communication & Understanding
- Intimacy & Passion
- Trust & Love
- Blended Families (Ex Partners / Children)
- Infidelity
When issues occur in the relationship it sometimes can become hard to resolve because the communication has broken down or simply that connection has been overtaken by routine and over time has become less and less. So even though it could be seen from an outside perspective that it's a simple matter to resolve many individuals and couples find it hard to find the mutual ground in which to resolve the presented issue.

How does Relationship Coaching help
As a relationship coach I help my clients look at the presented issues not just from their perspective but also from their partner's perspective. This holistic approach enables my clients to foster understanding and look deeper into the possible reasons why these issues are presenting themselves into their
relationship or even the reasons why their relationships seem to break down.
